Leslie Phillips was an English actor, voice artist and author. He achieved prominence in the 50s, especially for utilizing his catchphrases “Ding Dong” and “He-llo”.

He was most known for his ‘Carry On’ films. Leslie Phillips appeared in three Carry On films, ‘Carry On Nurse,’ Carry On Teacher’ and ‘Carry On Constable’.

Leslie Phillips was also cast in the Harry Potter movies as the voice of the Sorting Hat. He was a part of ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part two.’
