Whoopi Goldberg Shocks With New Look On ‘The View’

Whoopi Goldberg’s recent appearance on The View grabbed the attention of the internet as there was something different about her this time.
Goldberg was seen hosting the show without sunglasses and explained during the Hot Topics segment that she had undergone eye surgery on the weekend.
She announced that she had an operation and replaced the lens and the lens they were replaced with were similar to her eyeglass lens.
Goldberg explained that around two weeks ago, they had a show with everyone from Picard and she was trying to read the prompter without her glasses and she couldn’t do it, so she had to wear her glasses.
Whoopi revealed that the procedure was to treat a condition called presbyopia. She elaborated that she also had teeny tiny cataracts on the lens of her eye and so they had to be replaced.
Whoopi also requested everyone during the segment to get their eyes checked if they were experiencing any problems with their vision.
Whoopi Goldberg jokingly said that the bionic times have arrived and her announcement comes at a time when her show has been under controversy.
Whoopi also used an ethnic slur towards Romani people and also discussed about Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels, which was also criticized by a few.
