Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel have not been friends for a long time. Johnson also refused to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in Fast X.
Diesel stated through Instagram in November last year that he must appear again as he has a very important role to play.
Johnson later confirmed that he would not return as Hobbs and described Diesel’s post as manipulation. He said that he did not like the way Diesel mentioned his children in the post along with Paul Walker’s demise.
There were speculations about Johnson and Diesel’s feud when Johnson shared a post where he wrote that his female co-stars are amazing but his story with male co-stars is different.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Johnson mentioned that he should not have shared the post. He added that he met Diesel and they had a good conversation about the trailer after which they were clear about where they belong to.
Speaking about their enmity, Diesel said that it happened because of the tough love he gave to Johnson so that the latter can give his best performance.
Johnson said that like Diesel, he does not belong to the world of theater and grew up differently. He said that he feels responsible to handle things that must be taken care of.
