Why Is Westworld Leaving HBO MAX?

In an unfortunate event, HBO MAX will remove 'Westworld' from streaming.

'Westworld' was premiered in 2016 on HBO. It instantly became fan favorite becoming the most watched HBO series. It later was renewed for three more seasons.

The last season was premiered in June 2022. In an official statement, HBO thanked Lisa and Jonah for a "mind-bending odyssey".

Jonathan Nolan wanted to complete the narrative with fifth season, but it will not happen so. The show may stream on another platform. The reason was cost-savings by cutting the residual payments of the cast.

Along with 'Westworld', HBO MAX has also scrapped the Victorian drama 'The Nevers'.
