Why Shakira Is Moving Away From Barcelona With Her And Gerard Piqué's Kids

Shakira has revealed why she is leaving Barcelona with her two children, Milan and Sasha, whom she shares with ex-Gerard Pique.
The singer confirmed on Instagram that she is shifting to Barcelona. She wrote that she settled in Barcelona to give her children stability and she is now searching for the same in another place.
Shakira added that she is starting a new chapter and thanked her friends and family members who have been residents of the city.
Shakira had a few special words for her Barcelona fans, thanking them for their love and loyalty over the years.
El Periodico initially confirmed the news of her shifting. According to sources, Milan and Sasha will join the new school from April 11 in their new hometown.
Shakira and Gerard Pique first met in 2010 and were romantically linked the following year. The duo became the parents of two kids in 2013 and 2015.
The pair confirmed the reports of their split in June 2022. They were also included in Forbes’ list of the World’s Most Powerful Couples.
Shakira stated in an interview in February 2023 that she has prioritized her children now. Meanwhile, Pique is now in a relationship with Clara Chia Marti.
