Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey is all set to be released soon but the facts related to its rating have already raised a few eyebrows on the internet.

It has been confirmed that the upcoming film has been rated R and director Rhys Frake-Waterfield also addressed the same in an interview with Dread Central.

According to Rhys, Piglet is surely a small minion to Pooh but Piglet agrees to what Pooh wants him to do.

Rhys said that this has happened in the last few years they have built the sadistic tendencies among themselves. Rhys added that they go out, target people, kill and eat them.

Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey will be a retelling of the Winnie-the-Pooh books written by A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard.

While the film was announced in May 2022, it was met with some criticism for addition of a character that was a favorite childhood icon of many people.

The basic premise will focus on Pooh and Piglet, who have become brutal murderers and they start terrorizing a group of women and an adult named Christopher Robin.

The film will be released on theatres on February 15, 2023 and considering the response it has been receiving before the release, the makers have confirmed a sequel.
