Henry Cavill said goodbye to Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ after starring as Geralt of Rivia for three seasons.
The announcement broke millions of hearts, but fans remained optimistic that the British actor left the show to play Superman.
The fervor was further strengthened when Cavill made an appearance as Superman in the end credit scenes of ‘Black Adam’.
But, as it turns out, Henry has lost his role as Superman too as DC Universe is keen on signing a young actor as the hero for future films.
While bidding adieu to the DC character, Henry admitted that the news isn’t “the easiest, but that’s life.”
Now the question that pops up is whether he will return to ‘The Witcher’ as the monster-hunter for hire.Well, the answer is unfortunately, no.
Henry graciously passed on the role to Liam Hemsworth and wrote, “I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4.”
Well, whatever Henry Cavill chooses to do next, his fans will always support him.
