Will Prince Harry Be Given Any Role Or Responsibility At The Coronation?

Prince Harry’s role at his father King Charles’ coronation on May 6, 2023, has been disclosed while he is scheduled to attend the ceremony.

Harry would not play a major role in the ceremony. According to The Mirror, he and Prince William will not be spotted together in a single camera shot.

Harry will be sitting along with other non-working members of the royal family – Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their husbands.

Harry will not participate in the King’s Procession or the Coronation procession to and from Buckingham Palace, adding that Harry would not be on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Harry knew the historic occasion would be an important day in his father’s life but he wanted to meet with King Charles and Prince William before the coronation.

According to The Mirror, Harry is clear that he won’t come if he feels the atmosphere is toxic as it was during Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral.

Prince Harry’s presence was confirmed by Buckingham Palace in a statement, which added that the Duchess of Sussex will stay in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship with the royal family has been affected following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare, which revealed a lot of unknown details about the family.
