Easily one of the moments in ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ that viewers waited for a long time is Goku using his Power Pole. This weapon has been used right from the earliest episodes and chapters of the ‘Dragon Ball’ anime and manga respectively. However, it has been missing for the last several years. 

Finally, in ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, the series reveals why it had disappeared for so long and what brings the Power Pole back into the fold as well.

History Of Goku’s Power Pole In ‘Dragon Ball’

The Power Pole, or Nyoibō in Japanese, was passed on to Goku as a gift from Grandpa Gohan. Goku, throughout the series, used it to fly and defeat enemies.The creators revealed its mystery in the 123rd episode of ‘Dragon Ball’, “Lost and Found”. Goku was only the third character in the series to even use the Power Pole and this was one that Master Roshi had acquired from Korin before the series.

But as the series progressed, Power Pole went missing, leaving many fans wondering its whereabouts. It is important to note that a pole was not designed as the weapon, but as the means to move between the Korin Tower and the Lookout. After Goku finished his training, he stopped using the power pole and gave it to Korin.

A Surprising Twist The Power Pole as a Washing Line

In the second episode of ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, Goku becomes a kid. He then proceeds to reclaim what was dear to him – a weapon. He goes to Korin and asks about the power pole. Korin reveals he has given the pole to Master Roshi. To Goku’s utter shock, he sees that Master Roshi has turned the Power Pole into a washing line.

The return of Goku’s Power Pole has been appreciated much by fanatics. Some others have been foolishly waiting for this popular product type. Fortunately, the series offers a plausible reason for its disappearance from the public domain. It offers fans the form of resolution they have been waiting for.
