One of the most well-known and fantastic shounen anime is Hunter X Hunter. The first release was in 1999, and the second was in 2011. The 2011 revision is a little bit more thorough. The anime is wonderful because of its story and cast of characters, but viewers also appreciate the incredible fight scenes in this anime.
With so many named characters, each of whom has a rich past and set of motivations assigned to them, there are far too many battles in Hunter x Hunter for anyone to recall off the top of their heads. Every arc is jam-packed from beginning to end with battles, so much so that exposition frequently takes a backseat in the story. So here are some of the best fight scenes in the entire anime.

5) Gon And Team V/S Genthru And The Bombers
This fight happens in the Greed Island arc. Gon and Killua enter the game hoping to find Ging but instead find a Nen master, Bisky. Bisky teaches them Nen and they start clearing the game. They don’t expect to find a team of people called the Bombers who are terrorizing every game participant.
The team is ready to fight the bombers. Killua Bisky and Gon split and deal with their opponents separately. What makes this fight so interesting is that it does not focus on power and abilities alone. It involves the game and the spell cards. For instance, Gon uses gasoline to deal with Genthru’s abilities and uses a spell card to get a boulder that traps Genthru. The entire fight was well thought out and did not rely only on Gon’s power, but also on the spell cards in the game.
4) Phantom Troupe V/S Zazan
The Phantom Troupe received a lot of attention when the story first began, but following the Greed Island Arc, they have received much less. This enhanced the significance of their comeback during the Chimera Ant Arc. Sadly, the fact that they were up against mutant ants had little effect on how terrible the Phantom Troupe was.
Even though the Ants had a variety of potent weapons at their disposal, the Troupe only wanted to protect its home zone and kill some time. The highlight of the fact was Feitan and his rising sun. This fight only served as a reminder that the Phantom Troupe is lethal and made the fans wish for more.
3) Hisoka vs Kastro
The Hisoka and Kastro greed island match was the first actual showcase of Hisoka’s power and intelligence. It was quite clear from the start that Hisoka was toying around with Kastro and did not use the full extent of his abilities.
What made the match special is that it showed Gon and Killua that Hisoka is not just powerful, but is also very smart. He gave Kastro mental pressure by toying around and using magic tricks, which led to him losing his cool and messing up. Moreover, it showed the importance of choosing ability with respect to their aura sphere.
2) Greed Island Dodgeball Match
The greed island dodge ball match is not exactly a fight but is considered one because of its intensity and the variety of powers involved. No one would have thought that one of the game masters would choose to play dodgeball instead of fight.
However, this match was nothing less than a fight. Hisoka, strangely teamed with Gon and the team to assist them in defeating razor. The highlight of this match would have to be Killua and his aura control. The unlikely team of Gon, Killua, and Hisoka was surprisingly efficient and turned out to be the cause of their victory.
1) Chairman Netero V/S Meruem
This is the best fight of Hunter X Hunter. The fight in the story between Isaac Netero, the Chairman of the Hunter Association, and Meruem, the Ant King, is one of the most exciting and intriguing fights ever. The former’s Guanyin Boddhisatva launches a barrage of assaults, but Meruem rips off his opponent’s arm and leg.
Netero activates the Zero Hand to harm or even destroy Meruem, but this too has no impact. The chairman makes his final move by stabbing himself in the chest, detonating The Poor Man’s Rose a mini-nuke attached to his heart while doing so. The king is destroyed and the chairman is also dead. The royal guards show up and heal the king. However, the king later dies of the poison embedded in the rose.
