“I Can’t Open The Envelope. Can Anybody Help Me?”: John Cena Walks On Stage Na*** To Announce Best Costume Design Oscar, Video Goes Viral

The 2024 Oscars weren’t just about the glam and gold, they served up a slice of comedy too. In a move nobody saw coming, the larger-than-life John Cena stripped away the seriousness of the night of the year, quite literally, at the ‘Best Costume Design’ presentation.

While the Academy may not be able to afford another slap, it can still lighten up the mood. And lighten up the mood is exactly what everyone’s favorite WWE trump card did with his pretty airy bit right before introducing the best costume nominees.

Hollywood’s grandest night shimmering with the brightest stars of the cinema from around the world, and then Cena throwing in a nude curveball. The ‘Best Costume Design’ category wasn’t stealing enough spotlight and to remedy that John Cena decided to pull out his best trick.

Hold your popcorn, folks! For the part-time actor went full Monty on stage staying loyal to his antics. After the WWE star walked to the podium in his birthday suit, Host Jimmy Kimmel’s cheeky foreshadowing about a “nude man running across the stage” became a hilarious reality.

After some nervous struggle during the crucial moment of opening the envelope, Cena managed to announce the winner of the ‘Best Costume’ category. During his bit on the stage, the star made sure to let it be known that, “Costumes are important.”

As Cena handed the ‘Best Costume Design’ trophy to Holly Waddington of ‘Poor Things,’ the already nervous courage ran out. Our generous host Jimmy Kimmel decided to take pity on the p*or presented and draped a curtain on him.

In a night already packed with emotion and achievement, Cena’s naked skit became the talk of Tinseltown. The 2024 Oscars showed us that even in the glittering world of cinema, laughter steals the scene. Who knew a wrestling legend could teach the Oscars a thing or two about comedy?
