The trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is taking many turns. New revelations are coming forward. The trial began on 11th April 2022. Since then, testimonies of friends, family, and other professionals were noted. Johnny Depp, too, gave his testimony presenting his side. During the trial, Amber Heard admitted hitting Depp in a recording played in the court.
Amber Heard Accepts “Hitting” Depp
A recording of a conversation between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was played in the court on Wednesday. In the recording, we can hear the voice of the two actors bickering about a physical violence incident. During the conversation, Heard admitted to hitting him but refused to accept that she decked him. In the recording, she also asked Depp to “grow up” and called him a “baby.”
In the recording, Ms. Heard said, “You told me to do it. You told me ‘go do that’,” Depp responded, “You punched in the f***ing thing.” Amber answered, “You figured it all out. I didn’t punch you by the way.”
She said in a sarcastic tone that she was sorry for not hitting him across the face with a slap. Heard continued, “I’m sorry I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap.” She clarified that she was hitting him, and not punching.

She was persistent about “hitting” him and not punching him. Amber repeated herself, “I’m sorry. I hit you like this, but I did not punch you or f***ing deck you, but f***ing was hitting you. I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was. But you’re fine. I did not hurt you.”
Heard added, “What am I supposed to do? Do this? I’m not sitting here bitching about it, am I? You are- that’s the difference between me and you.” She called him a “baby.” She raised her voice when Johnny was trying to respond. “You are such a baby, grow the f***ing up, Johnny.”
Johnny Depp asked the actress whether she started a “physical” fight. She admitted to it. Depp wanted to get her out of here. Amber sarcastically said, “You did the right thing. The big thing. You know what you’re admirable.”
