Everything About Pax Jolie-Pitt
Pax was born on November 29, 2003, in Vietnam. His early years were spent at the Tam Binh Orphanage, which is located not far from Ho Chi Minh City. Talking about his heritage, Angelina had said during a 2015 interview with Vogue Magazine, “The boys know they’re from Southeast Asia, and they have their food and their music and their friends, and they have a pride particular to them.”
Pax spent three years in the Tam Binh Orphanage before Jolie adopted him in 2007. Pitt subsequently formally adopted their son in 2008, as Vietnam’s adoption laws made it difficult for unmarried couples to adopt together.
Talking about him joining their family, Jolie said, “He spent 3 1/2 years of his life in one place, in one room, in this one little iron bed with 20 other kids, and having no choice for himself to do things, having no freedom. And suddenly, here he is in a very free situation with new brothers and sisters and a mom and dad. He’s learning English and he’s so loving and he’s wild and free ’cause he suddenly has freedom.”
As for film projects, Pax has appeared in a cameo in Jolie’s ‘Maleficent‘, voiced Yoo in ‘Kung Fu Panda 3‘, co-starred with Maddox in ‘First They Killed My Father‘, and served as assistant director on Jolie’s ‘Without Blood.’
