What Is The Legal Battle Between Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie?
Following their divorce, the couple has been facing multiple legal battles starting from the custody of their children to the rights to sell their shares of the beloved French estate. And Brad Pitt filed a complaint against Angelina Jolie in February 2022. The complaint is about Jolie selling her shares of the winery to a competitor without his permission.
After the ownership was split, it was agreed that Angelina Jolie could sell her portion only after Brad Pitt had given approval and vice versa. The lawsuit that the ‘Maleficent‘ star faces now, claims that she denies selling her shares to Pitt and has sold a big portion of the winery shares to Yuri Shefler.
The latest court documents also read, “Her decision to terminate negotiations with Pitt was intentional and pretextual. As will be demonstrated at trial, Jolieās actions were unlawful, severely and intentionally damaging Pitt and unjustly enriching herself.”
