Armie Hammer was one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood. He was a part of several acclaimed films like ‘The Social Network‘ and ‘Call Me By Your Name.’ However, everything came crashing down after the allegations surfaced. His ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers has now spoken.
Chambers, who was married to the actor between 2010 to 2010, has claimed that she was getting to know about the allegations against Hammers “as the public was”. So let’s take a closer look at her comments and her relationship with the rape accused actor.

Elizabeth Chambers Talks About Allegations On Armie Hammer
Armie Hammer was one of the biggest names in Hollywood until the allegations of cannibalism and rape surfaced against him. His ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers has spoken out about it.
In a profile for Elle magazine, the Bird bakery owner talked about the allegations against Hammer which surfaced right after they divorced in 2020. “I was learning things as the public was,” Chambers said. “I was like, ‘There are no words. What the fuck?’”
She stated that Hammers was a different person in the initial years of their marriage. Chambers recalled feeling “completely magical” as she traveled with him for film shoots as well as press tours.

Their Relationship Detiorated During The Lockdown
Chambers and Hammer tied the knot in 2010 after being introduced by Hammer’s friend Tyler Ramsey. They also share two children. However, things started to change for them, especially during the COVID-19 induced lockdowns.
She said that “his behavior was less caged animal and more irritating.” Before this, cracks had already started to appear in their marriage as they were not spending time together.
The breaking point happened when Hammer left Chambers and their kids at the Caymans to restore a motel. This resulted in their separation and Chambers filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court in July 2020.
Since the allegations have surfaced, which Hammer denies, he has been blocklisted by Hollywood and was also dropped by his talent agency.
