Fans who have watched ‘Deadpool and Wolverine‘ already must have noticed a cheeky mention of Ryan Reynold’s daughter Betty during the end credits where she is credited as ‘Hugh Jackman Wrangler: Betty Reynolds’. The backstory to that is now revealed by Reynolds as fans get a peek into the close friendship Ryan’s family share with Hugh.

“I don’t profess that my kids are perfectly behaved,” Reynolds joked. “My 4-year-old Betty sort of loves Hugh, like, unconditionally and she expresses that love through unblinking violence. So she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might,” he added.

Betty isn’t the only member of the family who is credited in the film. The entire Reynolds family has made appearances on screen. Inez makes an appearance as the foul-mouthed Deadpool variation Kidpool.

In another scene, Olin, her one-year-old brother, also appears, babbling as Babypool, who cheers on Deadpool and Wolverine following a fight. James got a role credited on IMDb as a Screaming Mutant. While Blake Lively dazzles as the deadly, masked Lady Deadpool.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been friends for 17 years, something that Ryan, in a way, compares to his marriage with Blake Lively. After making multiple appearances together off screen, both of them have gushed over their bond and what exactly makes it special.

In an interview with ET, Jackman talked about what the best thing about his friendship with Reynolds is. “That I could tell you anything. I don’t think there’s [anything I couldn’t tell you]. I could literally tell you anything and also how I feel both of us — I’m stealing a little bit ’cause you described this perfectly — we are genuinely rooting for each other in every aspect of our lives,” he said.

Meanwhile Reynolds, while speaking to PEOPLE, said, “We rely on each other for the real kind of advice that you want”, adding his ‘secret sauce’ to their friendship of almost two decades.

“I think the secret sauce to a long-lasting Hollywood friendship is not too dissimilar to having a partner or a marriage. I am genuinely rooting for you, all the time. I want you to win. It’s the same way I feel about Blake. As I’m rooting for her, I know she’s rooting for me, and it’s why we’re so connected,” he said.

Their film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine‘ is in theatres now.
