Billie Eilish believes that American freedom can be preserved only under Kamala Harris‘ presidency. Her statement comes just weeks after she endorsed the Democratic Party representative for the upcoming United States presidential election. The ‘Blue’ singer stated she would feel a lot safer in her country as a woman with Harris as President.
The statement comes amid the widespread movement against abortion bans in several states of the country as the elections approach. So far, thirteen states have put a complete ban on abortion, many of which have no exception for rape victims. Here’s what Billie Eilish said in favor of the US Vice President.

Speaking with Vogue recently, Billie Eilish clearly stated where her vote lies in the upcoming Presidential elections. She said, “A lot of my fans are going to be able to vote for the first time. So I’m like, ‘Do you like freedom?'” The ‘Lovely’ singer joined the election buzz in September along with her brother and producer, Finneas.
The siblings stated in a joint Instagram post, “We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy. Vote like your life depends on it — because it does.”
Billie delved into the possibility of Harris becoming the first female President of the United States. She said, “First female president? Would be really amazing. I would love to feel safe as a woman in my country.”

Women’s reproductive rights have become one of the biggest campaigning manifestos of the Democratic Party amid the abortion bans in several states. Billie Eilish has joined the long list of celebrities backing Kamala Harris. The singer stated that she is a “really big fan of women’s rights and women’s reproductive rights and social justice and gun laws.”
