Chris Pratt is not here for Hollywood’s bad attitudes, and he is making it very clear. While it is not unusual for actors to throw tantrums, especially if they are popular, the trend has been receiving heavy criticism as people have begun to speak up against it.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ star held no bars while slamming actors who do not appreciate the privilege of making movies. While speaking on a panel at New York Comic Con 2024 on 17 October, Pratt got real about what it takes to survive in the industry. Here’s everything he said.
Chris Pratt Slams Ill-Behaved Actors On Movie Sets
Chris Pratt has made it big in the industry, but it wasn’t an easy journey. That is perhaps why he acknowledges his privilege of being a movie star and expects other actors to do so as well. “Look, these guys can vouch for that because they’re the same way. There’s no place for such bad attitudes,” Pratt said while discussing his new movie, ‘The Electric State‘.

“You can’t have a bad attitude in moviemaking. It ruins everything for everybody, and then you don’t last long,” he added. Pratt minced no words, as he cheekily called out stars who complain on set. “Oh, are you having a tough time living your dream? Is that tough for you today? Like, come on and pull your head out,” he quipped. “Have fun.”
‘The Electric State‘ is a story about a teenage orphan, played by ‘Stranger Things’ star Millie Bobby Brown, who searches for her brother after a failed robot uprising. The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and feature a star-studded cast that includes Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, and voice work by Jason Alexander, Jenny Slate, and Anthony Mackie.
Chris Pratt Gushes Over Co-Star Millie Bobby Brown
In stark contrast to his gruff exterior, Chris Pratt showered praise on his co-star from ‘The Electric State‘, actress Millie Bobby Brown. Calling the 20-year-old “incredible,” Pratt could hardly contain himself admiring Brown’s devotion both on and off the set.

“She’s like, they’d yell cut, and she’s finding a home for some pygmy goat or organizing a U-Haul full of pit bull puppies to be taken to Indiana,” he shared. “She has such a huge heart.” It seems that Pratt and Brown found common ground in the shoot for the Russo Brothers’ adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s graphic novel.
“We became fast friends,” Pratt said warmly, adding as he referred to Brown, “And you can’t get rid of me. Sorry.” Seems like Brown isn’t one of the actors Pratt was referring to.
