Demi Lovato has planned the perfect happily ever after with her fiancé, Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes. The ‘Cool For The Summer’ singer got engaged to Lutes last year in December 2023. Lovato met the Canadian songwriter in January 2022 to collaborate for co-writing Lovato’s, ‘Substance’. The ‘Confident’ singer confessed they immediately had a crush on Lutes. Amid their wedding preparations, the couple revealed their family plans.
Lovato revealed they got engaged last year in “a personal and intimate proposal”. In August, Lutes celebrated the singer’s birthday with a thread of intimate posts with a caption of “my whole world”. His fiancé responded with an equally endearing comment saying, “Knowing that this year I get to marry my soulmate” was the best present.

I see my future with him. I see growing old with him,” the ‘Let It Go’ singer said.

Lovato and Lutes started dating in 2022 after teaming up for the singer’s eighth studio album, ‘Holy Fvck’. They confirmed their relationship in August 2022. They made their red carpet debut as a couple in February 2023 at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammys party. In December 2023, the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer announced their engagement on Instagram showing their pear-shaped diamond solitaire ring.
Why Lovato And Lutes Are Delaying Parenthood
The ‘Cool For The Summer’ also discussed their family plans with their future husband. The couple does not plan on having children right away after getting married. The singer confessed she is “not ready to give up my alone time with [Jordan].” However, if the couple does have kids, Lovato wants to maintain their privacy.
“I don’t even want to share their faces in pictures on Instagram when they’re born,” she related. “I want them to have that anonymity… I share a lot with the world and I just want some things to be mine.”
