According to the Australian pop culture gossip site Poptopic.com, Disney is apologizing to Depp. They are offering him $301 million to return as Jack Sparrow. Not only that they are even making a sweet gesture to the actor by officially writing him an apology letter.

A source close to the publication revealed, “I know corporate sent him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I’m unsure how it was received. But what I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow — so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character.” However, there is no confirmation about how much of this news is true.

The previous controversy of Johnny Depp with Disney

Disney has removed actors before after controversial issues about them came to light. But Johnny Depp was not a small name. After they removed him from the Pirates Of Caribbean 6’ in 2018 the actor himself was confused. He has done many movies for Disney which were box office hits. He said, “I didn’t quite understand how, after that long relationship and quite a successful relationship certainly for Disney, that suddenly I was guilty until proven innocent.”

He continued, “I thought that the characters deserved to have their way out, to end the franchise on a very good note. I planned on continuing until it was time to stop.” In his trial, Depp said that he won’t be returning to Disney even if they offered him $300 million. Well if Disney has now actually offered him $301 million, will he return is still a question.
