Thomas Crooks Took Proffesional Training Before Doing The Final Assasiantion Attempt
Thomas Mathew Crooks lived in Bethel Park in Pennsylvania, which is 70 km (43 miles) from the place of Donald Trump’s assassination. The 20-year-old was an intelligent kid during his high school years. He graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022 with $500 as his prize money in maths and science, according to a local newspaper.
But the surprising fact is, before attempting to shoot Trump, he took professional training. He had a membership at the local shooting club, the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club, for last year, the club confirmed to BBC.
Moreover, it has multiple gun ranges, including a high-power rifle facility with targets up to 171 meters away. “Obviously, the club fully admonishes the senseless act of violence,” attorney Robert S Bootay II, a representative of the club, told BBC. The weapon used to shoot Trump was an Ar-style rifle which was purchased by Crook’s father.

What Was Thomas Crooks’s Intentions?
What could be the intentions of a 20-year-old boy who used to be an intelligent student in his school and even did kind deeds along? Police and the officials are unable to find the real motive behind the act.
Officials informed that he visited the shooting site once before the attempt and had previously searched for his phone for symptoms of depressive disorder.
Moreover, the attacker used his phone to search the images of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden. On 15 July, the officials were able to access his phone to examine and gain the digital evidence. Crooks’ family has been cooperative during the whole process.
Citing three law enforcement sources, CBS has reported that his father immediately called the police after the assassination attempt, though the mode of call is still unknown. Crooks is the only person against found, it’s unclear whether he was accompanied by someone to the rally or not.
