Elon Musk Engages In A Petty Twitter Skirmish With Gaming News Site ‘Hard Drive’

It is not new for the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk to engage in petty Twitter warfare from Senators to an unknown entity. He recently poked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC. In a poll about who is trustworthy: Politicians or Billionaires? He challenged her to conduct a similar poll.

In the past, he spewed mocking and flirty tweets at AOC. And now, he has ensnared himself in a petty worded skirmish with a video-gaming page called Hard Drive, which escalated to not-so-interesting consequence.

The Satirical Gaming Page Accused Elon Musk Of Non-Accreditation

In a recent Twitter war, SpaceX founder Elon Musk got himself into a heated Twitter exchange with Hard Drive. On their website, they described “Hard Drive as a very real video games news site that you should not question. Just absorb the information as truth and move on.” Starting back in 2014, the website covers the world of gaming, entertainment, cinema, and web series. Recently, they shared an article titled “Zodiac Killer Letter Solved By Opening It With VLC Media Player.” Elon Musk shared the article by not crediting the website.

Hard Drive’s Twitter handle shared the article and assured a horse in barter for accreditation. They captioned, “Hey i’ll give u a horse if u stop cropping our name off our articles.” To this, Musk, rating the meme 6/10, responded, “Well, if you make something that looks like a meme & someone (not me) crops off your name, so it goes.” To add fuel to the fire, the web-gaming site shared an article, “Elon Musk admits he wants to travel to Mars because no one hates him there yet,” asking him, “what you think about this one.”

Elon clapped back saying, “Less funny than SNL on a bad day. This could make a drunk person sober. Try harder!” Hard Drive retorted with Musk’s picture dressed as a Mario in a recent SNL sketch captioning, “Well you’re the expert on SNL’s bad days.” Finally, Hard Drive published a satirical apology titled, “Hard Drive Apologizes to Elon Musk for Dunking In Him Too Hard.”

This is not the first time that the business magnate has embroiled himself in a copyright infringement controversy. In 2018, he and a Potter got into a dispute over the farting unicorn icons.
