Andrew Scott is apparently dissing his fans for watching the show that garnered heavy acclaim, both for his own role in it and the overall brilliance of the series. The ‘Ripley‘ actor is asking his ‘Fleabag‘ fans to get over the show and “do something with their lives“.
‘Fleabag‘, written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, featured Scott in the role of the hot priest. Ahead of the fifth anniversary of the show, Scott was asked about the fans who still binge-watch ‘Fleabag‘ during an interview with Entertainment Weekly and he had a very rational answer to the question.
“Go out and get some fresh air. Stop watching. Stop crying. Stop crying in your room with your curtains closed. Do something better with your life,” the actor said, seemingly knowing fully well that the show has struck an emotional cord with many across the world.

Will There Be A Season 3 For Fleabag?
‘Fleabag’ is a short series that ran for two seasons and 12 episodes. It was written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, based on her ‘One-Woman Show’ she performed at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The series revolves around Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s character named Fleabag, a young lady who uses her wit to cope with tragedies in life. As she navigates her life through several layers of emotional traumas, she meets Scott’s character. The two fall in love, but being a priest, Scott’s character struggles to choose between his love for her and his love for the God. Falling in love with a man sworn to celibacy is just another one of Fleabag’s tragedies.
After the massive success of the second season, Waller-Bridge had trashed the possibility of a third season. She clarified that the show’s season had a logical end and that she had no desire to see it go on.
