DC has been going through a hard time compared to Marvel as they have failed to deliver commercially or critically successful films. The ‘Peacemaker‘ director has said that Henry Cavill, who played Superman in the DCEU, was “d****d around” by the previous people at top positions. So let’s find out in detail about what Gunn said in his candid comments. Keep on reading to know more.

James Gunn took over DC studios, along with Peter Safran, as the co-chairman and co-CEOs respectively. However, he is in no mood to forgive the previous leadership of the company.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gunn recently talked to the reporters after unveiling DC’s new slot of movies and television shows. He said that the previous regimes were “fucked up” and that previous Superman actor Henry Cavill was “dicked around” by the studio.

Studio executives generally don’t speak so frankly in public and Gunn’s style has been unusual and refreshing in that sense. Ever since he took over, he has canceled ‘Black Adam 2‘, ‘Wonder Woman 3‘ and a sequel to ‘Man of Steel.’
