The music industry is apparently under a dark spell as they mourn the death of yet another artist. Rapper Aaron Carter was found dead in his Los Angeles house on 5 November 2022. Soon after the news was confirmed, Aaron’s teen flame, Hilary Duff took to Instagram to mourn the artist’s early demise at the young age of thirty-four. In his last couple of years, Aaron had a tough time dealing with his addiction to narcotics and even jeopardized his relationship with his fiancé and son. In her eulogy, Duff really warmed up to Aaron which left many teary-eyed.
The younger brother of Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys was found dead in his bathtub. The Carter family has not revealed the cause of his death though friends suspect a drug overdose. His indulgence in substance abuse led him to be booked for a DUI and even got him arrested. He joined a rehabilitation center to improve his relationship with his fiancé, Melanie Martin and their son, Prince Carter.

When Did Aaron Carter And Hilary Duff Date?
Way back in 2000, the ‘I Want Candy’ artist and the actress-singer got together when Aaron was only thirteen years old. Both young and famous artists were the cute teen couple of Hollywood. Aaron even gave a cameo appearance in Hilary’s show, ‘Lizze McGuire’. They dated on and off for three years and then broke up in 2004. However, in 2014 the ‘Aaron Party’ singer wrote a deeply emotional and controversial tweet in which he claimed that Hilary was the love of his life. “Don’t be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever. I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don’t care what ANY of you think,” he confessed.
In 2010, Hilary married ice hockey player Mike Comrie and had her first child. The couple later split up in 2016 and Hilary re-married singer Mathew Koma in 2019. The couple shares two children. Seems like Aaron Carter too moved on from his high school sweetheart and got engaged to model Melanie Martin and welcomed their son into the world in 2021. She shared a statement with People on Aaron’s sudden demise saying that her “heart is completely broken”.

Hilary’s Emotional Tribute To Aaron
In the form of a letter, Hilary addressed the deceased Aaron Carter in her Instagram post. It read: “For Aaron: I am deeply sorry that life was hard for you and that you had to struggle in-front of the whole world. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent…boy did my teenage self love you deeply. Sending love to your family at this time. Rest easy”.
Meanwhile, people all around have been paying their condolences to the singer’s demise. His twin sister too wrote, “To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly…My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you…and I promise to cherish them.” She further added, “I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.“
