Taylor Swift has broken many records and now the Ticketmaster website too! Swifties flocked to the Ticketmaster website to try to grab the presale tickets for Swift’s upcoming 2023 ‘Eras Tour’ in the United States. This caused the site to become inaccessible for thousands of fans on Tuesday morning.
The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer made a historic record as the first artist in history to hold all the top ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in a single week from the ‘Midnights’ album. ‘Anti-Hero’ was in the lead and it was also the first song to be promoted to radio. Why Did The Ticketmaster Website Crash?
Ticketmaster’s customer support Twitter account posted at 10:54 am ET Tuesday, “We are aware fans may be experiencing intermittent issues with the site and are urgently working to resolve.” If you are wondering why? Taylor Swift‘s fans have flooded the Ticketmaster website and it crashed! They had to repair that to make it work again. Another update came at 1:05 pm from Ticketmaster twitter handle.
The tweet noted that it was wrestling with “historically unprecedented demand with millions showing up to buy tickets for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale.” “Hundreds of thousands of tickets have been sold. If you have already secured tickets, you are all set,” the ticketing service said in a tweet. “If you are currently in a queue, please hang tight — queues are moving and we are working to get fans through as quickly as possible.”
