Hunter Biden‘s personal life is once again out in the public. He is an American attorney who is also the second son of U.S. President Joe Biden. Another renowned lawyer, Kathleen Buhle, was married to Hunter for 24 years. After five years of their split, she says she has forgiven him for his deeds. Hunter now has a new wife and a two-year-old son. Now the question lies, what was there to forgive? Evidently, a lot. Kathleen disclosed it was about those thousands of dollars he wasted on his addictions, his ruthless lies, and his infidelity.
Hunter Biden’s Ex-Wife Spills Marital Secrets
Kathleen’s upcoming book, ‘If We Break: A Memoir Of Marriage, Addiction And Healing‘ states the painful story of Miss Buhle. She recalls the moment when she was first exposed to the fact that her husband was having an extramarital affair. After the uncertain death of brother Beau Biden due to cancer, Hunter collaborated with his sister-in-law Haille Biden to start a charity in Beau’s honor. “After the funeral, I saw a purpose in Hunter’s work to set up the Beau Biden Foundation with Hallie and his parents,” Ms Buhle writes in an excerpt published by People. “But he started spending most of his time at Hallie’s house.”
According to her, their family therapist defended Hunter in the matter. “Our therapist told me Hunter needed to be up there, helping Hallie,” Buhle recalls. “‘But what about his sobriety?’ I asked her. ‘He needs routine. He needs to be home with us.’ [The therapist] held firm that being with Hallie and her kids was an important part of Hunter’s grieving.” In the summer of 2015, Kathleen found an ashtray with crack pipe which no doubt belonged to Hunter. She threw him out of the house and moved out herself. But the worst part was yet to come.

“Mom, I need to talk to you,” Buhle’s daughter, Finnegan, told her tearfully over the phone. “I’m at Debbie’s.” Kathleen rushed to the therapist’s house. Finnegan was curled up and weeping. Even Naomi, Finnegan’s sister was on a speaker phone, but neither could bear to say a word. Breaking the silence, Debbie spoke up “Kathleen, Hunter’s having an affair with Hallie,” the therapist said.
Buhle stood in stunned silence for a moment. As she recalls in the book, she was “shocked, but not heartbroken. I could see Finnegan’s face relaxing now that the secret was out and I hadn’t fallen apart,” she writes. “If anything, I felt a strange vindication. Not only had I not been crazy, but it was so much worse than I could have imagined.”
The book will hit the stands on 14 June.
