Dakota Johnson and her mother Griffith were attending an event when they had the opportunity to meet former President Barack Obama. While speaking to him, Griffith proudly introduced her daughter and mentioned her role in ‘The Social Network’. However, she went on to add a detail that left Johnson mortified.

She goes, ‘Oh, Mr. President, this is my daughter. She’s just did a movie. She’s an actress too. She was in ‘The Social Network’, she’s in her underwear,‘” Johnson recalled. The actress immediately felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. She realized that her mother had inadvertently shared a rather intimate detail about her character with Obama.

“I died inside,” she added. In the film, Johnson’s character is known for her memorable scene in which she walks around her dorm in Stanford-labeled underwear. While this detail may have been amusing to her mother, it was undoubtedly embarrassing for Johnson to hear it shared with the President of the United States.
