“I Messed Up A Lot”: Courteney Cox Regrets Getting Fillers

Courteney Cox appeared on the ‘Gloss Angeles’ podcast. During the episode, the actress talked about the days when she was getting filler work done in retrospect.

While talking to hosts Sara Tan Christensen and Kirbie Johnson, she said, “Thinking I was getting older when I was really young, that’s just a bummer, a waste of time; it’s a domino effect, it’s like you don’t realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more cause you look normal to yourself.”

Courteney Cox added, “You look in the mirror and go, ‘Oh, that looks good,’ you think, and you don’t realize what it looks like to the outside person and just doing too many fillers and having to have them removed, which thank god they are removable.”

She continued, “I think I messed up a lot and now luckily I can, I was able to reverse most of that, now I’m actually just older.”

Courteney Cox gets appalled when she sees some of her older pictures and squirms as well. She said, “I look at pictures of me when I thought I looked okay, and I can’t believe it.”

She continued “My publicist wouldn’t let me post this, but I wanted to say, like a before or what I was and what I am, and then the caption would be ‘oh this is what my friend was talking about,’ because when someone is talking to you [about fillers] and saying, ‘babe, I don’t know,’ then you’re like ‘what?! I didn’t do anything here and nothing there’ and you don’t realize that probably floated down.”

During an interview with The Times, Cox suggested that she will never touch her face again. The ‘Scream’ actress said, “There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older’… and I didn’t realize that, ‘oh shit’, I’m actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”

The actress is now content being in her 60s. Courteney said, “There’s nothing wrong with being 60, I just can’t believe it. Time goes so fast. There’s no question that I am more grounded, I’ve learnt so much in my life — what to enjoy, what to try to do more of, and what to let go of.”
