Christopher Nolan Does Not Use The Internet
You would think that your lives are incomplete without the world wide net. But Christopher Nolan begs to differ. The ‘Interstellar’ director likes to write the movie scripts on a laptop without any internet.
The director does not use a smartphone or an email either. Nolan likes to do it as old fashioned as possible. But why does the director not use the internet? “My kids would probably say I’m a complete Luddite,” Christopher Nolan says.
“I would actually resist that description. I think technology and what it can provide is amazing,” Nolan continued, “My personal choice is about how involved I get. It’s about the level of distraction. If I’m generating my material and writing my own scripts, being on a smartphone all day wouldn’t be very useful for me.”

‘Oppenheimer’ Has Been Shot Without CGI
It is a well established fact that Christopher Nolan is a genius director. His work has left viewers baffled numerous times. And his latest one seems to be no different. When it was revealed that the Trinity test scene had been shot without CGI, fans assumed that Nolan had detonated a real bomb.
“It’s flattering that people would think I would be capable of something as extreme as that on the one hand, but it’s also a little bit scary,” Nolan said in an interview. But he prefers to perform his scenes as much as possible without CGI.
The cast recounted how one of the scenes was shot one stormy night in the desert. As Cillian Murphy waited to climb up a 100 feet steel tour reminiscent of the real one, the star said, “You could see this sand coming up off the desert and the skies were ominous. I remember thinking, ‘Oh my God, this is fucking great.’” That night was a nightmare for producer Emma Thomas and a tense one for the rest of the crew. But Nolan got his shot of the sandstorm the real Trinity test crew faced the night before the detonation.
