“It Stresses Me Out”: Grant Gustin Reveals He Is Not The Biggest Fan Of Singing

Grant Gustin, the star of the popular CW series ‘The Flash’, has recently opened up about his singing abilities. While Flash is known for his musical numbers, Justin is not very confident in his musical abilities.

At the Edmonton Expo, Gustin admitted that singing is not his forte and that it often makes him feel nervous and stressed. This is surprising as he was often singing in the show as Barry and is even a part of Broadway. Here’s everything he said.

The character has even done a rendition of “Running on Empty” and a duet with his love interest, Iris West. However, Gustin revealed that these performances were not his favorite moments. “Singing is actually not super fun for me,” he said.

It makes me very nervous, it stresses me out. I’ve never actually considered myself a singer,” he added. Gustin’s reluctance to sing is understandable. Moreover, his recreating amazing musical numbers despite his doubt only adds to his level of talent.

However, when asked about his conversations with James Gunn, Gustin clarified that while they had discussed future collaborations, there were no concrete plans for him to reprise the role of ‘The Flash’. He emphasized that fans were overanalyzing their brief interaction.

Look, there are no doors right now that are slammed shut for me in any capacity,” he stated. Moreover, while Gustin seems open to the possibility of returning to the role, there are no immediate plans for him to do so.
