Aniston was not the first celebrity to be the victim of this prank calling. It seems that fake distress calls have become a trend wasting a lot of valuable man-hours and disturbing celebrities’ time. When the authorities arrived at the address, Aniston had to ensure her that she was not at risk for self-harm.

On the evening of 21 September, as reported by TMZ, Los Angeles local authorities received a distress call from an unidentified caller. The caller claimed that they were worried about “a friend’s” well-being, without mentioning Jennifer Aniston’s name. A few men were dispatched to the given address where they were met by Jennifer’s security.

Confused, the cops realized that they were at the ‘Friends’ actor’s home. However, according to protocol, the cops insisted the security guards to contact the actor.
