Jennifer Lawrence Didn’t Totally Understand ‘Mother!’

During her appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ with Andy Cohen, Jennifer Lawrence finally admitted to having no clue about the 2017 film ‘Mother!’ The 32-year-old actress was in a romantic relationship with director Darren Aronofsky during the making of the film. Being close to the director came in handy as she skimmed the philosophical meaning of the movie.

Andy Cohen asked the Oscar-winning actress, “On a scale of one to totally confused, how much did you understand your film ‘Mother!’?” She replied, “I’m going to be honest. Well, I was sleeping with the director so I had CliffsNotes. So…five? Or a four. But if anybody needs any tips on understanding their films, you know what to do.”

Andy Cohen asked, “F**k the director?” to which Lawrence replied, “Yeah!”

Andy Cohen quickly questioned Jennifer Lawrence about the cheating rumors between her and ‘The Hunger Games’ co-star Liam Hemsworth. In the music video for ‘Flowers,’ Miley Cyrus is seen a golden dress. It’s supposed to be the same one the 32-year-old actress wore at the ‘The Hunger Games’ premiere. 

The Oscar-winning actress leaped at the opportunity to clear her name of any wrongdoing, “Not true. I would love to [respond], it’s not true. Total rumor. I mean, we all know that me and Liam, like, kissed one time. But it was years after they broke up. So I just assume that was like a coincidence.”
