Bennifer 2.0 is destined for divorce, at least Jennifer Lopez’s first husband believes so. While the entire world is swooning over Ben Affleck and JLo’s fairytale romance, one person believes the star couple’s future together is doomed. Jennifer’s first husband Ojani Noa has made some bold claims about her recent marriage to Ben. He has gone one step forward to announce how Jen’s fourth marriage won’t last.
In his recent bombshell interview, Ojani talked about his own little-known love story with Jennifer and how that romance frizzled and faded out. While predicting the fate of her fourth marriage, he explained why things don’t work out with the actress.

Jennifer Lopez’s First Husband Advises Ben To Keep “Lupe” On His Side To Save His Marriage
Ojani Noa, who’s a Cuban refugee and a waiter in Miami, claimed that Jennifer Lopez “loves being in love” but loses interest when the passion in her relationship fizzles. Jennifer and Ben Affleck’s Las Vegas wedding brought back a rush of old memories for the 48-year-old actor. Noting how the ‘Justice League‘ star is ‘Husband no. 4’ to the ‘Hustlers‘ star, while he was ‘Husband no. 1,’ Ojani recalled his relationship with the actress. The 53-year-old singer told Daily Mail that Jennifer used to tell him that he was “the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever.”
Talking about the power couple walking down the aisle, Ojani Noa confessed, “I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last.” According to Ojani, JLo is “someone who will be married seven or eight times. I can’t see her ever settling down with one person.” He added, “She pushes herself to constantly go forward in her professional life, which is why she’s had a three-decade career, but she also moves on in her private life,” before quipping, “If Ben has Lupe on his side then maybe he’s got a chance.”
Noa also briefly touched upon his rendezvous with the star which happened when he was washing dishes at Gloria Estefan’s Ocean Drive restaurant Lario’s On The Beach at 22. “Miami was buzzing. I did some modelling. I hustled. I wanted the American dream – and I found it when Jen walked into Lario’s,” he said. “I had no idea who she was. Our eyes glanced at each other and I thought she was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen.”
Ojani Recalls Meeting Jennifer Lopez For The First Time
Their story doesn’t end there as the next day Lopez came back to the bar. Then Noa served her another customer’s French fries after she said they looked “yummy.” Noa further recalled, “I was smitten. She was wearing a white top and trousers, and I remember thinking she had the best body I’d ever seen. She later told me she knew that first night she was going to marry me.”
Later that night, the duo partied at a club called Commune. “When we got to the club my friend Leo took Jen to the dance floor, and I thought, ‘Oh man, you’re a lucky guy.’ Then [her friend] said, ‘When they get back, take Jen out there. It’s you she’s interested in.‘ They get back and I take her hand and lead her onto the floor, and a slow song comes on. It was electric. She was shaking and said, ‘You make me nervous.’ We could both feel the romantic energy. It was instant and intense. Like it was surging through our bodies. I said, ‘I feel the same way you’re feeling.’ I lifted her chin and gave her a kiss – it was a kiss like we’d known each other forever,” he said.
While the two shared a goodnight kiss, a passerby exclaimed “Oh my God, that’s Jennifer Lopez from ‘Money Train,’” Noa remembered. “That’s when I realized maybe she was somebody. The next morning my pager goes off. Jen had to see me before her flight. The door goes and I open it and she falls into my arms. We kissed, and as she drove off in her limo, she looked back like in the movies and I thought, ‘This is it. This is crazy,’” Noa added.
Noa Feels He And JLo Could Still Be Together, If Not For Media
Noa and Jen stayed in touch while she was in Los Angeles. He managed to talk to her from the pay phone at the restaurant. When she returned to Florida, the actress invited him to be her date for the ‘Blood and Wine‘ premiere. “I rented a cheap suit. We got to the red carpet, there were all these flashing lights and fans screaming. I started to feel sick. I walked down the carpet holding her hand then stood to the side while she gave interviews,” Noa recalled.
After this, it was just onwards and upwards for the couple. Noa also quit his job and moved to Los Angeles and together they even took an important step in life as he proposed to her for marriage at the wrapping party of JLo’s ‘Selena.’ But soon, more stardom and money changed her which didn’t really suit Noa and sadly led to the couple’s divorce.
The actress though hired Noa to manage a Los Angeles restaurant around 2002, she fired him three years later. He sued her, settled, and moved back to Florida where he has not remarried. Noa said he believes he could have made it with ‘Jenny From The Block‘ if it were not for “parasites who feed off celebrities” and media reports that characterized him as a “penniless waiter,” the report read.
