The thriller finds Depp as a cruise ship bartender whose encounter with a mysterious day drinker spirals and results in both of them being trapped in a labyrinthine crime world.

Coming from Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, who are known for their work on ‘John Wick’, as well as ‘The Tomorrow War’s Adam Kolbrenner’, ‘Day Drinker’ sounds like bankable action. The screenplay was written by action-thriller specialist Zach Dean, who has worked on ‘Tomorrow War’ and ‘Fast X’.
