Justin Baldoni is continuing to send impactful messages about his film ‘It Ends With Us’ as the filmmaker and actor released a gripping letter for survivors of domestic violence — a theme that was explored in his movie through the story of Lily Bloom.
The letter comes after an intense drama Baldoni is having with his co-star Blake Lively over creative differences on the film and different styles of promoting. Here’s everything he wrote in the letter.
Justin Baldoni Pens Emotional Letter For Domestic Abuse Survivors
In support of Survivor Compassion Letter, a community group that seeks to “flood the internet with love for survivors,” Justin Baldoni posted a “#survivorloveletter” on his Instagram. Baldoni also collaborated with No More, a group that served as ‘It Ends With Us’ charitable partner, for the social media post.
In the letter, he wrote, “You embody resilience and courage, qualities that shine bright even on the darkest days. In the tapestry of your life, each thread tells a story of endurance, strength, and hope. Every step forward you take, no matter how small, is a declaration of your unyielding spirit and an inspiration to others. You may not always see the impact you have, but your journey encourages and motivates, lighting the path for those of us still searching for the light.“
Baldoni added, “While I can never fully understand your pain and all you have endured, I want you to know that you are never alone in this fight. We are with you. You are not just surviving; you are thriving, and in your thriving, you inspire us all. May your journey forward be filled with moments of profound peace. And may you remember that as you fight for joy…you are liberating us all. Sending you gratitude, strength, and love.”
Why Is Justin Baldoni Having A Feud With Blake Lively?
To begin with, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively reportedly had major creative differences over the film. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter that there “was a fracture among the filmmakers in the post-production process, wherein two different cuts of the movie emerged.” The report also claimed that Blake “wants to direct the next movie, sidelining him and securing the rights from Colleen.”
Another source had claimed that in order to remove a sequence from the movie, Lively hired editor Shane Reid, who had previously worked on Hugh Jackman and husband Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’

It was also disclosed that Blake Lively was uncomfortable with some of Baldoni’s behavior throughout the film. She said that Baldoni “fat-shamed” her despite the fact that she had just given birth to her fourth child just before the filming started.
According to insiders, Justin Baldoni was also almost violent on set, which made it difficult for the actors to work with him on the movie. A insider told People, “All is not what it seems. There is much more to this story. The principal cast and [author] Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him.”
