Senghan, a band member of the beloved K-pop band RIIZE, had a controversial 10-month hiatus. His fans were naturally upset, but he recently announced his comeback to the group after much speculation about his absence.
Fans were soaking up the news of his arrival but in less than 48 hours, Seunghan announced that he’s permanently leaving the group. The whole situation among the K-pop fans and the group is currently wrecked. Here’s what is going on.
Seunghan Had “Consistently” Expressed His Wish To Leave The Band
Two directors from Wizard Production, the management under the label SM Entertainment in charge of the group RIIZE, shared the news on social media that the band member Seunghan is permanently leaving the group.

According to the letter shared by the directors, the return news was to give fans some joy and hope before, “we realized that our decision had actually hurt fans more and caused them greater confusion instead”.

“Seunghan has consistently expressed his desire to leave the group for the sake of the members and the fans,” Wizard Production added. “Out of respect for the artist’s decision, we are announcing Seunghan’s departure from RIIZE, instead of his joining the group.”

The letter also added a ray of hope for the fans: “We will support Seunghan in the future so that he can showcase his talents and follow his dreams”. Moreover, he is still signed under SM Entertainment.
Fans React To Seunghan’s Exit From RIIZE
Fans were utterly disappointed after the news of Seunghan’s exit from his band dropped. They were confused about what was happening behind the doors. Many of them shared their concerns for the band member and even claimed that he was bullied into leaving, collectively slamming the management.

In the now-deleted post, a user named Wonbin expressed his feelings on the whole situation, showing his support for Seunghan. He wrote, “I’m being cautious, and I’m worried, but I also think that if we, the members, don’t share our thoughts or reactions, it will only lead to more confusion and difficulty for you”.
He further wrote, “We’ve had a lot of conversations with Seunghan and the company over a long period of time. I hope you understand just how much we, the members, have thought about this and deeply considered everything together.”
As the post was later deleted, it became more obvious among the fans that something was not right in the group, and the group members were probably being controlled.
