While chatting with Access Hollywood in a recent interview, Gaga spilled the tea on how her mom orchestrated her love story with Polansky. “My mom, she said, ‘I just met your husband,'” Gaga revealed.
At the time, the pop sensation, who had just stepped out of past engagements, was not exactly eager to jump back into the dating pool. “And I was like, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!‘”
However, after giving it some thought, Gaga decided maybe it was time for another “bad romance.” She agreed to attend a party at the home of Napster co-founder Sean Parker, where her mom promised she’d meet her future husband.
That’s where Gaga met Polansky, and the rest, as they say, is history. “I went to the party and I met him, and he was just the most amazing man I’d ever met,” she gushed. “We talked for, like, three hours…then I couldn’t find him, but he called me.“
“I’m really grateful for my mom’s advice,” she added. “You don’t always take your mom’s advice, but mom did good!”
