Madonna Teases Biopic After Major Delay
In a recent post on Instagram, Madonna shared a photo of herself with a typewriter. She is seen making changes to a movie script. “I Need A-lot of Bandz to make this………..OKAY. (Story of my life),” the caption on the post reads. The singer posted multiple photos of herself.
In one of such pictures, a line is seen drawn across the title ‘M Untitled’. This suggests that the new title of the biopic is ‘Who’s That Girl’. This is a nod to Madonna’s 1987 film and song of the same name. The script is noted as being ‘Rewritten by Madonna and ECW.’

Work On The Biopic Was Stopped In 2023
It was reported that the film at Universal Pictures had been scrapped back in January 2023. The biopic was set to be directed by Madonna herself. The script was penned by Diablo Cody and Erin Cressida Wilson, and Julia Garner was handpicked by Madonna to play her in the film.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Garner is still set to star in the film now called ‘Who’s That Girl.’ However, it is great news for her fans who were very heartbroken when the film got scrapped. Madonna has not made any official announcements yet.
