With the revelations about Matthew Perry‘s demise in the past months, the actor’s family is still recovering from the shock. The ‘Friends’ actor passed away last year in October due to a ketamine overdose.
Authorities made several arrests in August and await trial. Reports claimed the dealers allegedly took advantage of Perry’s addiction. However, Matthew Perry’s mother, Suzanne Morrison claims she felt a premonition of the unfateful event before it happened.
Matthew Perry’s Mother Reflects On The Last Conversations She Had With The Actor
After Matthew Perry’s demise, the actor’s family gathered for the first time for an interview on the ‘Today‘ show. In an emotional shape, the relatives shared their memories of the actor. Perry’s mother, Suzanne Morrison told the host, Savannah Guthrie the last conversations she had with her son.
She said, “He came up to me and said, ‘I love you so much and I’m so happy to be with you now.'” Morrison continued, “It was almost as though it was a premonition of something. I didn’t think about it at the time but I thought, ‘How long has it been since we’ve had a conversation like that. It’s been years.'”
Suzanne Morrison Was “Worried” For Matthew Perry In His Final Days
Hearing Matthew Perry’s heartfelt comments, Suzanne Morrison became a little suspicious. The actor’s mother assumes, that her son had a vague idea of something unfortunate happening. She said, “I think there was something… there was an inevitability to what was going to happen next to him, and he felt it very strongly.” She continued, “But he said, ‘I’m not frightened anymore.’ And it worried me.”

At the end of the interview, Savannah Guthrie stated that she had “a powerful conversation” with the late actor’s family. “There’s so much pain and sorrow, but [they] also have a real sense of purpose about the work that he was doing, helping others get sober,” Guthrie added, “It was the purpose of his life, and so there’s some stuff to announce around that too.”
