Did Meghan Markle Threaten Prince Harry?
The British monarchy recently underwent a major change as King Charles III took the throne after the death of his mother and United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth II. But, the spotlight is still on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Apparently, according to the book written by Valentine Low, Meghan threatened to break up with Harry if he didn’t publicly confirm their relationship. Low quoted a source in the book about Meghan: “She was saying, ‘If you don’t put out a statement confirming I’m your girlfriend, I’m going to break up with you.”
Another source told the author of ‘In Courtiers: the Hidden Power Behind the Crown’ that Harry was “freaking out, saying, ‘She’s going to dump me.'”
It was after this fiasco that Harry spoke to Jason Knauf, the communications secretary for him, his brother Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton, at the time. The Prince told Knauf to release a statement about his relationship with Meghan Markle and also addressed the racist comments and poor treatment she was receiving from British tabloids.

Book Claims Meghan Complained About Not Getting Paid For Royal Tour
Among the allegations against Meghan Markle, one is that she was disgruntled as she was not getting paid to attend royal engagements with her husband, Prince Harry. This was about the first royal tour they went on as Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2018 to Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand after their royal wedding.
Valentine Low noted in her book, “Although she enjoyed the attention, Meghan Markle failed to understand the point of all those walkabouts, shaking hands with countless strangers. It was a different story behind the scenes. According to several members of staff, she was heard to say on at least one occasion, ‘I can’t believe I’m not getting paid for this’.”
An official statement about the accusations have not been released by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry yet.
