Kim revealed to Vogue at the Met Gala that she lost 16 pounds in just three weeks in order to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s gown. Kardashian stated in a separate interview with Vogue that she came up with the glam look last year after the 2021 Met Gala. In 2021’s Met Gala, Kim went all black! Kim shares that Marilyn Monroe was the one that she thinks is the most American. Kim thinks that the look from Kennedy’s birthday was the one that she wanted to relive.

Is This Pete And Kim’s First Red Carpet Appearance?
While this is Kim and Davidson’s first Met Gala red carpet appearance, it is not their first red carpet appearance. Kim and Pete made their red carpet debut at the 2022 White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Sunday, which was the night before the Met Gala. While this is Kim and Davidson’s first Met Gala together, they actually met for the first time at the big fashion event last year. Kim had also shared that the two met weeks before her 2021 Saturday Night Live hosting stint.
