During her appearance at the 20th Hannah Montana Anniversary Special interview, Cyrus finally spilled the secret about dating her cutest co-star, Dylan Sprouse.
How Miley Cyrus And Dylan Sprouse’s Disney Romance Began
Miley revealed that she and Dylan dated during their teenage years while shooting for ‘Hannah Montana‘. She openly admitted, “I secretly, um…Dylan was my boyfriend. I think he was the cutest,” making it clear that this wasn’t just a rumor after all.

The ‘Hannah Montana‘ star also addressed that fans were shipping the two back then. “Maybe there was a rumor, but it’s true, confirmed,” she stated.
Cyrus also shared memories from her time dating Dylan Sprouse. “Their dad would take us to sushi.” She told Cooper. Cyrus also revealed that she got to spend time with Cole Sprouse. “It was a two-for-one, like, bring the brother. Hello!.”

Appearing years ago in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Dylan shared, “I was about 11 or 12, probably. We met at her set, I believe, and we dated. And then Nick Jonas walked by, and it was over.”

As it turns out, Miley later dated Nick from 2006 to 2007, and the pair briefly reunited in 2009. Their relationship became one of the most talked-about Disney romances at the time.
In fact, things were so heated that Miley is believed to have written songs like “Before the Storm” and “7 Things” about Nick. Looking back, she once admitted on the ‘Every Single Album‘ podcast that their first breakup left her “distraught” and “sobbing.”
Over the years, all of them have moved on in their personal lives. Dylan married model Barbara Palvin in July 2023 after being together since 2018. Meanwhile, Miley confirmed late last year that she is engaged to Maxx Morando. As for Nick, he is now married to Priyanka Chopra, and the couple shares a daughter.
