    The 94th Annual Academy Awards were successfully conducted at the Dolby Theater, Los Angeles. Many remarkable music performances happened during the event. Lemonade artist Beyoncé inaugurated the night with a virtual performance of Be Alive, an original from the Motion Picture King Richard. But, the global-hit boy band, BTS surprised the ARMY by making a virtual appearance, discussing their favorite Disney animated films at the Oscars 2022.

    BTS members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin V, and Jungkook appeared at the Oscars evening. This appearance was in form of a pre-recorded video. The Band was seen talking about their favorites from Disney and Pixar animated films. In the Favorite Film Musical with BTS segment, Jimin kick-started the video by praising Coco, which bagged two Oscars released in 2017.

    RM, adding to the praise, said, “It’s a real masterpiece! I watched it three times and cried a lot.” V finds Pixar “unbelievable” Jimin added to it saying, “I didn’t cry though.” J-Hope gave his opinion on Disney films, “Overall, I like Disney movies.” Jin responded to this by telling that Disney Films stimulates emotions as well.

    J-Hope continued praising the Oscar winner Will Smith’s Aladdin, a musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures, released in 2019. RM gave a shout-out to Aladdin actor, Will Smith. The Best Animated Film Oscar went to Encanto produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Another Disney film that made waves at Oscars 2022 was Cruella by won the Best Costume Design category.

    The BTS Will Be Performing In The US

    Though BTS’ J-Hope contracted the virus a few weeks ahead of the concert, currently, they are preparing for the US concert slated in April. They will be performing at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. They have extended their Permission To Dance On Stage and will be performing at the venue on April 8, April 9, April 15, and April 16.

    BTS has received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group for their chart-busting song Butter at the Grammy Awards. They will also perform at the Grammys.

    BTS took a break after their US concert last year. Though the band gave their Seoul ARMY a performance in March. BTS has made headlines after their movie BTS Permission To Dance On Stage: Seoul premiered in the US with the courtesy of HYBE and Trafalgar Releasing.

    CEO of Trafalgar Releasing Marc Allenby in a statement celebrated the phenomenon that BTS is. He said, “It’s a testament to both the overwhelmingly dedicated fandom of the ARMY and the overall return to cinemas on a global scale.”
