Meghan Markle rose to tremendous fame after her role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama ‘Suits‘. However, after she got married to Prince Harry, her acting career took a stall. While there’s little to no indication that Markle is returning for a reboot of the show, her former co-star Patrick J. Adams simply can’t help but wonder what their characters might have ended up doing.
Still hopeful for a happily-ever-after for Ross and Rachel Zane, Adams has his fingers crossed for a happy future in a parallel universe. While the spin-off of the show, ‘Suits L.A.’, has already been released, Adams was found wondering where his character and his lady love would be had the show continued.
Patrick J. Adams Imagines His Character Mike Ross’ Life With Rachel Zane In Seattle
In a recent sit-down chat with The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Suits‘ actor Patrick J. Adams envisioned how his ‘Suits‘ character Mike Ross and his lady love Rachel Zane, played by Meghan Markle, must be “still together kicking it in Seattle”, where they ended up at the end of the series.
“I like the concept of them just crushing it in Seattle, saving lives, and fighting for the little guy,” Adams mused, saying that he could imagine them dressed “a little bit more comfortable” than the pricey suits their characters sported at high-stakes corporate setting that they worked at in the previous show.
However, Adams acknowledged that he does have trouble visualizing them in Seattle permanently. “I have a hard time imagining them in that climate for that long,” he laughed, implying that a change of scenery may be on the horizon in his imagination.
‘Suits’ Original Cast Plans On Reuniting For A Podcast
Although a ‘Suits‘ reboot doesn’t seem to be in store, Patrick J. Adams and his former co-star Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna Paulsen on the show, have reunited the cast through a podcast. Their new venture, ‘Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast‘, will revisit all the episodes, offering behind-the-scenes stories and interviews with cast and crew members.

As for Markle, Adams said she’s actually been invited to join the podcast. “She sent a lovely text message when we decided we were doing it,” Adams said. But he insisted that the show would not touch on any personal life of Markle’s, nor anything about Prince Harry. “This is not about telling someone else’s story,” he said.
“Hope we might get Markle there,” Adams said. “Very excited to see if and when there’s a crossover,” Rafferty also chimed in. So for fans who are still hoping to see the beloved cast reunite, this is a golden chance.
