Rihanna is moving from one high to another as the star debuts on the annual Forbes billionaires list. This is the first time for RiRi to be mentioned by Forbes in the list. And most of the credit for it goes to her makeup line Fenty Beauty. The singer who’s expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky became the first billionaire of her native country Barbados. Along with the ‘Umbrella’ singer, celebrities like Peter Jackson and Bill Gates’s ex-wife Melinda Gates also debuted on the Forbes Billionaires List.
Rihanna Makes It To The Forbes Billionaires List
The singer was valued by Forbes worth $1.7 billion on their list. Along with being one of the co-owners of Fenty Beauty she also holds a 30 percent stake in the Savage X Fenty lingerie line. Both the lines generated whopping revenues in the past couple of years with the lingerie line alone being valued at $1 billion last year. Rihanna became the first-ever billionaire in Barbados following Fenty’s soaring success in August 2021. Consequently, the island country named RiRi the 11th National Hero of the country.
Following Rihanna’s mention in the list that has names like Jeff Bezos and Steven Spielberg, fans expressed their delight over her success. Rihanna grew from being a singer to making albums that became best-selling. In turn, she spread her wings in the business realm and claimed metaphorical success within that space too.
