As of 2023, Taylor Swift is enjoying one of her most successful years in the music industry. With four albums that have charted consecutively on the Billboard charts, a re-recorded album that is enjoying considerable popularity and success, and a world tour that has brought in millions, Swift might just be a potential billionaire in the coming months or year. The Eras Tour is the highest-grossing tour in North America and Swift has yet to release a lot of dates.
So far the ‘Bejeweled‘ singer has announced 131 tour dates that include states from the US, Europe, and parts of Asia. With all of her musical success, Ms. Swift has also established her name as a political leader. Here is how Santa Clara has chosen to honor the 33-year-old singer as she gets ready for her performances at Levi’s Stadium.
Santa Clara Becomes Swiftie Clara Ahead Of Taylor Swift’s Visit
Yes! Taylor Swift is all set to make the whole place shimmer. In anticipation of Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour, which will travel through Santa Clara on July 28 and 29, the city council renamed the city “Swiftie Clara” and made the singer an honorary mayor.
“Taylor Swift is coming to Santa Clara for the third time and this time we wanted to honor her in a respectful way, so we had a proclamation and [showed] our Swiftie spirit on the Eras tour,” said Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gilmor. She further added by saying this will “celebrate the positive local impact to the Santa Clara community, as well as the impact regionally, of Taylor Swift’s music, tours and extraordinary fan base.”
This honor, however, is not unprecedented. Ahead of Swift visiting various other American cities, they granted the songstress the cities to their respective cities. Streets have been renamed, and cities have gotten more ‘Swiftlike’ names in honor of the artist. Quoting a Twitter user – “The power she holds is unbelievable.”

Is The Grammy-Winner Going To Be In Her ‘Billionaire Era’ Soon?
Is Taylor Swift going to be the newest billionaire of the block? Well, it’s highly likely. Swift is already worth more than $700 million. The majority of this income came from her chart-topping albums, and her successful global tours – the 1989 world tour alone brought in more than $250 million, while the Reputation tour brought in roughly 315 million. Her brand partnerships with companies like Capital One, Apple, Walmart, Keds, and others also rake in millions. With such achievements, Swift is among the highest-paid artists in the world and among the richest female singers. Her estimated net worth is $740 million, according to Forbes.
The figure is only anticipated to increase once she completes the US and South American legs of The Eras Tour. She has not announced foreign dates, which might generate even more income for her. As of now, international Swifties are patiently waiting for her to announce further tour dates.
