Scarlett Johansson Says Her 9-Year-Old Daughter Rose Is “Too Scared to Watch an Avengers Movie”

Scarlett Johansson has wowed an audience of millions with her performance as Black Widow slash Natasha Romanoff with the ‘Avengers‘ franchise. There is, however one person who hasn’t yet watched her on screen as the iconic combat fighter despite being extremely close to her. It’s Scarlett’s own nine-year-old daughter.

The actress talked about how her daughter refuses to watch any of the ‘Avengers‘ films because it’s too scary for her. Here’s what Johansson revealed about her daughter’s refusal to watch her films with Marvel.

Here’s Why Scarlett Johansson’s Daughter Is Too Scared To Watch The Avengers Movies

Scarlett Johansson spoke to PEOPLE about how her ‘Avengers‘ films are too scary for her kid and she hence stays away from them. “She likes that I play Black Widow, but she’s too scared to watch an Avengers movie,” the actress said, then added, “She’s just like, ‘It’s violent.’ I’m like, ‘Oh God.’ ”

She is, however, very excited for Scarlett’s new feature with Channing Tatum, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’. “I think she’s excited about the hair and makeup mostly,” the mom of two says. “It’s just so fun… She’s girly,” Johansson added.

Johansson shares her daughter Rose Dorothy with her ex husband Romain Dauriac.

Known for her cunning, fighting prowess, and intricate past, Johansson’s character was first seen in ‘Iron Man 2‘ and went on to become a vital part of the ‘Avengers‘ franchise.

She portrayed a former Russian agent seeking redemption with depth and improvement in the role of Black Widow. Her performances in all of the ‘Avengers’ movies as well as her solo feature, ‘Black Widow’, have garnered praise for giving the superhero group more emotional weight and a captivating personality, elevating her to a iconic status in the MCU.

The actress is now all set to feature alongside Channing Tatum in ‘Fly Me To The Moon’.
