Last year in November, Sean “Diddy” Combs faced a lawsuit against him by his former partner Cassie Ventura. She alleged that Combs assaulted her during their relationship between 2007 and 2018. However, the lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed amount after a day of its filing.
However, CNN has released surveillance footage from 5 March 2016 in which Diddy can be seen brutally assaulting Ventura in the hallway of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
Diddy Caught Red-Handed Attacking His Former Partner Cassie Ventura
In the disturbing CCTV footage, Diddy first shoved Cassie Ventura in the hallway and then started kicking her. It wasn’t enough, he grabbed her from her hoodie and dragged her back to his hotel room.
The incident is similar to what was mentioned in the lawsuit. The statement in the lawsuit claimed, “In on around March Mr Combs, during an FO at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Mr Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye. After he fell asleep, Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Ms Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms Ventura. He followed her into the hallway while yelling at her. He grabbed her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw then at her, causing glass to shatter around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.“
The lawsuit also claimed that Diddy paid $50,000 to the hotel for the CCTV footage. Cassie Ventura’s lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, after the surfacing of footage, said the video “only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.”

All Sexual Misconduct Lawsuits Against Diddy
The lawsuit by Cassie Ventura was not the only lawsuit against Combs. In addition to Ventura’s lawsuit, Diddy faced 5 separate civil lawsuits. He has been accused of sexual misconduct, sex trafficking and multiple assault incidents.
Diddy and his attorney have been refusing these allegations ever since. Aaron Dyer, Diddy’s attorney even claimed authorities raiding his house was a “gross overuse of military-level force.” Diddy even filed a motion to dismiss some claims in a sexual assault lawsuit.
