Hollywood is not short of romances that make headlines just as much when they’re sizzling as when they fizzle. One such love story involved ‘Friends‘ star Jennifer Aniston and ‘The Leftovers‘ actor Justin Theroux.
For those who’ve forgotten, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane. Aniston and Theroux started dating back in 2011, got engaged the next year, and said “I do” in a super intimate ceremony in 2015. But, like many Hollywood marriages, theirs hit the skids, and by 2018, the couple announced their split. But their care for each other has seemingly retained itself.
Justin Theroux And Jennifer Aniston Shares A Close Bond That Defies Divorce
Though their marriage didn’t stand the test of time, it seems the bond between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux remains unshaken. In a candid conversation with The Times, Theroux spilled the beans on where things stand with his ex-wife.
“She is still very dear to me,” Theroux shared. The ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice‘ star didn’t stop there, though. He also addressed how he feels when the ‘Friends‘ icon faces any kind of criticism or backlash.
Theroux also remarked on Aniston’s recent reply to Sen. J.D. Vance’s 2021 comments that women like Vice President Kamala Harris who have not given birth are “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives.”
“Of course, yeah, I feel protective,” Theroux said about Aniston’s response. He added, “But she batted back criticism, as well she should.”
Jennifer Aniston’s Powerful Clapback At Criticism
Jennifer Aniston had taken to Instagram to voice her disbelief at vice presidential candidate JD Vance’s 2021 remarks. It resurfaced after he was named Donald Trump’s running mate for the 2024 election. “I truly can’t believe someone like that could become the next Vice President of the U.S.,” Aniston wrote.
“All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day,” Aniston, who has shared her personal IVF story in the past, wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.
“I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option,” Aniston continued. “Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.“

‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice‘ premieres in theaters on September 6.
